Commentaries in Accordance
Someone gave me the advice early in ministry that I stick to today.
Only buy a whole commentary set if you can get a really good deal or sale, like a used physical copy or a great sale on a digital copy.
Until then, buy a few different commentary books on the one book you are studying right now to slowly and more affordably build your Bible study library.
Below are some of my favorite commentaries that I use most often.
For some, you have to buy the set.
But for others, just like the physical copies, you can purchase individually to save money as you get started building your library.
