(Part of my series on favorite food and eateries.)
During the time my wife and I lived in England, some good American friends who are missionaries there took us to the Cotswolds for a very enjoyable day that included cream tea. The heavy cream, scones, jam and British tea are part of a delightful memory I relive on cool autumn days. Our experience there has led my default hot tea choice to be British with sugar and a splash of milk. Unfortunately, I have never had a cream tea like I did in the Cotswolds.
